digging a BIG hole… Rodney’s real big on flowers, especially those for Mom. It’s exciting to have one of those in the house. He certainly doesn’t take after his daddy! Rodney helped me pick out and plant a flower bed yesterday. I know, a little late, but the flowers were really cheap! Now tending God’s gardens in Heaven. Pete died on Friday June 4th at 1:00 pm in Marquette. His visitation will be at the Calumet church on TuesdayJune 8th from 3pm to 8pm. Funeral will be at 3pm on Wednesday June 9th. Rodney walked with me to fire the outdoor stove one afternoon, and he had to “quickly check how warm the dirt is.” Our driveway runs alongside the field, currently plowed. Warmer dirt means the ground will sprout seed, while colder dirt won’t. The dirt was cold – very cold. As in, “oh – it’s cold, [...] It is indeed possible to burn hard boiled eggs. Who knew?
